  1. Hi – minimum room size for svs sb1000 pro ?

    Music only : Denon dm39 (2 x 30W) + speakers Qacoustics concept 20.
    Qacoustics concept 20 driver = 12,5 cm = 5 inches. (64 Hz +/- ? db).
listening preferences : natural sound and precision. Tight quick and articulate bass (kick drum). Good integration with main speakers (no overhelming)
    thanks.

  2. Just bought an SVS PB-1000 Pro as a wedding gift for my best friend. Wonder how his soon to be wife will react haha. His home theater is down in his basement so he should be good lol

  3. Damn 12 inch and 17hz ? that's as much as PB2K dishes out albeit not at 550w but 375… Wish I could do something about my PB2k and get 2 PB1K pro :v but that was over year ago when pro didn't exist. Gotta get another PB2K then to go dual but now i wish I had gone dual PB1K as it was for the price of 1 PB2K as my room is 12m2 and PB2K is quite large compared to PB1K but had to hear that glory rumble, don't regret a thing.

  4. How about a tutorial video on how to use Phase, Room Gain Compensation, and Parametric EQ for those of us who don’t have a computer to calibrate the PB1kP with REW? A video from SVS with a test tone to accompany it would be great too. Using sweeping videos, I feel my PB1kP the most at 60hz. I watched a video using 80hz test tone and played with Phase, I heard or felt no difference. I know by using techno music that my Phase needs to be at 120-140 to feel it. Anything over 140, I am not hearing or feeling any difference.

The Parametric EQ is almost useless without a proper test tone and using techno music isn’t it lol. It would be amazing if SVS could integrate REW into the phone app and automatically correct room flaws using the phone mic after the sub calibrates to phone to itself, like one of the other sub manufacturers are doing. Except having an exclusive partnership with REW would be EPIC!

I wonder what the poll results would be if you asked every app user if we use a PC, mic, & REW to utilize the Parametric EQ.

  5. Was considering the 1000 pro until I found out that in the UK we're almost paying double the U.S price…..that means I can buy better subwoofers from alternative brand cheaper

  6. i love my svs sub,and i am soon to get one of these new ones.although im about to be a bit critical of this video.this is by no means a review.this is just an ad.

  8. I had been thinking of getting 1 PB 2000 Pro as it was upgraded technology. And Now after such upgrade in 1000 series also, which I had been waiting the same. Will choose this over 2000 pro. Thanks

  9. I love almost everything about this, but as someone who goes to greath lengths to have LESS black boxes in my living room, I would reaaally love it if you guys would experiment with a bit of colour and different woods a bit more!
